Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to conference bookings made with 360 Business Consulting (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2021/691006/07 (“the organiser”, “we” or “us”).

1. Bookings and payment

Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once payment has been received and written confirmation issued. Please provide accurate attendee and contact details.

Prices are quoted in South African rand. The booking page will state the total payable, including applicable taxes and charges. Only items expressly listed in the ticket description are included. Travel and accommodation are excluded unless stated otherwise.

2. Conference programme

The date, venue, format and programme will be published on the event page. Speakers and session times may change where reasonably necessary. We will communicate significant changes using the contact details supplied when booking.

If we materially change the conference date, location or format, you may accept the change or cancel for a full refund of the affected booking.

3. Attendance and conduct

Attendees must comply with reasonable venue rules and safety instructions and behave respectfully towards other participants. Disruptive, abusive or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the event. Any refund entitlement will be considered in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.

Please notify us of dietary or accessibility requirements when booking so that we can confirm available arrangements.

4. Conference materials

Conference materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Materials supplied to attendees are for personal use and may not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission.

5. Personal information

Booking information will be used to administer your registration, process payment and communicate event-related information. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation and our website’s Privacy Policy.

6. Your rights

These terms are governed by South African law. Nothing in them excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Cancelling your booking

Please send cancellation requests to info@leanisteenkamp.com, including your name, conference name and booking reference. Requests will be assessed from the date received.

You may cancel an advance booking. A reasonable cancellation charge may apply, taking into account the notice given, the nature of the booking, the reasonable possibility of filling the place and relevant industry practice. We will explain any deduction and refund the remaining balance.

2. Death or hospitalisation

No cancellation charge will apply where the booking cannot be honoured because of the death or hospitalisation of the person for whom, or for whose benefit, it was made. Reasonable supporting documentation may be requested.

3. Attendee substitutions

You may nominate another person to attend in your place at no additional charge by notifying us before the conference starts. The replacement attendee must meet any eligibility requirements stated when booking.

4. Non-attendance

Missing the conference without notifying us does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Any refund request will be assessed in light of the circumstances and applicable consumer rights.

5. Cancellation or postponement by the organiser

If we cancel the conference, we will refund the conference booking fee in full.

If we postpone the conference, you may transfer your booking to the new date or choose a full refund. These options also apply if cancellation or postponement results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Travel, accommodation and other arrangements booked independently remain subject to the relevant supplier’s terms. This does not exclude any liability we may have under applicable law.

6. Refund processing

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after we receive the cancellation request and any information reasonably needed to process it, or sooner where required by law.

Refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to reflect the funds.

7. Statutory rights

This policy does not restrict any applicable statutory cooling-off, cancellation or refund rights.
